Brief Job Contribute to the mission of the Akron Clarence Roman Catholic Community through engaging, informative, timely, and effective internal and external communication. This is an onsite position based at St. Mary's with the ability to travel to Nativity, OLP, and St. Teresa parishes.Essential Duties & o Overseas the marketing of all Parish Family programs.o Creates and maintains all social media communication.o Collaborates with individual parish staff to collect and organize all communication needso Collaborates with the Family bulletin staff to ensure like messages across all media platforms.o Create content for virtual bulletin boards.o Manage general public relations needs for the family. Required Education/ Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred. 3-5 years working in a communications role. Experience working in a Catholic Church environment.Desired Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills. Must be able to multitask. Acute attention to detail. Computer skills with specific ability in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Adobe and Photoshop InDesign. Google suite. Proven ability in website content management software. Knowledge and expertise in all social media platforms. Ability to work effectively with a team as well as independently. $40,000-$50,000 based on experienceApply no later than 02/15/2024. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
